Effective Tools for Building Strong Customer Relationships
As we enter this festive season there are plenty of opportunities for you, as a business owner, to use the holidays to your advantage. This is a good time to take advantage of all that holiday cheer! Some things you can do:
For Your Customers
- Send personalized holiday greeting cards.
- Send out calendars for the New Year.
- Order holiday print shopping bags to pack their purchases in.
- How about a cool picture frame magnet with something like "From Our Family To Yours This Season" and your company information on it?
For your MVCs (Most Valuable Customers)
They should get a little something extra. The people who do the most business with you should be recognized in such a way that they'll know how much you appreciate them. There are many things you can do. Some ideas:
- Send chocolates.
- Send a bottle of champagne.
- Send them a special gift certificate from your business.
For Your Employees
Don't forget those who make it all happen for you this season. While they may be from different religious backgrounds, everyone appreciates a gift. You can keep to a common theme without becoming too impersonal. For example, you can:
- Recognize everyone in your company with a "Happy Holidays" or "Seasons Greetings" card and gift certificate to a popular store or restaurant.
- Order a small gift like a light jacket, sweatshirt, or turtleneck for each employee with the company logo embroidered on it.
